A box in a box in a box in a box

July 22, 2008 | Posted in Life | 3 Comments

I just love it when things can fit into other things easily. For example, those toys that are shaped like bottle-shaped dolls that have mini-bottle shaped dolls inside of them. I like those toys, but I never managed to ever get one.

But a few days ago, my mom went out to buy a few suitcases so I could pack my clothes when I go off to college. She bought a six-piece luggage pack, but it all came in one suitcase. Inside the giant suitcase, there was a smaller suitcase and a bag. Inside the smaller suitcase, there was an even smaller suitcase. Inside the smallest suitcase, there was a small bag, a clothes bag, and another bag. I just liked seeing the suitcases being taken out.

Perhaps it’s because I’m one of those people who when organizing, pile things inside other things. After all, this method is great for conserving space.

I’ve got one of those sets too - in green. It’s the love of my life - like you said, it’s incredibly space-friendly, and it means that when I’m going away, I have a number of different cases to choose from, depending where I’m going, and how long I’m going for. Once going on a month-long trip back to China, I just took all the cases back, folded into the largest case…and came back with them all full! ;)

Those sound awesome, but wouldn’t the biggest one be really heavy with all the other ones inside it?

Would you like to respond?
